About the event

Get ready for one of the most exciting and fast-paced events of the rodeo! In Calf Flagging, participants race on foot to catch a calf and remove the flag attached to its tail. This event challenges speed, agility, determination, and sportsmanship as competitors compete against the clock for the fastest time. Designed for youth ages 12–14, Calf Flagging offers a fun and memorable introduction to livestock events while building confidence and encouraging friendly competition.
